Membership Terms & Conditions

1.   GETA Club membership is for a limited period.  A member is required to submit a properly filled in GETA Club Membership Form.  Granting admission to the GETA Club is at the sole discretion of GETA.  GETA keeps the right to grant or deny or cancel GETA Club Membership for a reason may or may not be explained to the applicant.

Note: For certain services, GETA would require more details than the ones mentioned in GETA Club Membership Form.  For example, if a member is in search of a job and would like to seek GETA’s help, he/she will have to complete a Candidate Profile (Bio-Data/Resume/CV).  Such forms are available at GETA Head Office and at GETA Library.

2.   GETA Club offerings are published through “GETA Club Offering Brochure” (this page).  The “Benefits” section enlists major benefits to members.  GETA keeps the right to amend these offerings at any time as deemed necessary.

3.   GETA Club offerings are charged services.  Currently these are charged at Rs. 100 per annum per member.  However, GETA keeps the right to amend these charges at any time and as deemed necessary.  GETA adopts promotional campaigns and loyalty programs from time to time with special offers on services and/or on membership charges.

When a member subscribes to one year, it would follow a 365 day anniversary, i.e., the membership year starts from the day of subscription and would be valid for one calendar year.

4.   Besides monthly GETA Club membership charges, the member may have to pay for event based service charges depending on the arrangement through GETA.  For example, GETA arranges a special one-week training program to its members in association with some expert group on “Winning Interviews” at a discounted price, but not totally free of cost.

5.   If there is a change in a member’s contact details like the phone number or email, it is the responsibility of the member to inform GETA to avoid interruption to his/her services.  GETA cannot be responsible for outdated contact details.  GETA also puts a member record on dormant status after certain three unsuccessful attempts to reach the member based on his contacts on record.  GETA keeps the right to change the number of attempts in its policy if deemed necessary.  While GETA puts in genuine efforts to reach out GETA Club members when needed, GETA is not obligated to keep record of these attempts as a proof because such a process becomes a huge burden on GETA and would consume resources which otherwise could be availed for more fruitful services.

6.   It is the responsibility of the member to renew GETA Club membership on time for uninterrupted services.
